Zoom Crushin’

Zoom Crushin’ is a website with three interactive games built with the p5.js and p5.play libraries of Javascript. The site explores what happens when your friend starts developing a crush on someone in their Zoom class. What is it like to crush on someone when your only interactions are virtual? How might you share those feelings with your friends over text messages? 

The digital style mixed with simple hand-drawn elements brings a touch of the physical world to the digital space. With the randomness of the final outcome, Zoom Crushin’ invites the user to come to terms with two ideas: 1) a crush is not someone to be “won” and 2) things may or may not work out even when you think you have made all the right decisions.
