Brand identity, sweater design, print and social media marketing material, 60-page program booklet, 2022

Abel is the brand identity and designs created for Kasamahan at the University of San Francisco’s 49th Annual Philippine Cultural Night production. Abel isthe Ilocano word for weave. Baybayin writingan indigenous Philippine script—is woven through the word to represent the delicate weaving of culture and history that occurred to create the production. The colors represent the natural beauty and richness of the water and land of the Philippines. Illustrations of Philippine cotton, piña—or pineapple fiber, and abaca plants highlight the sources of some Philippine textiles.
